Welcome to the show! In this show Dan entrusts Matt Gleeson from Monty’s Guitars to play, examine and disassemble Red, his favourite and most cherished electronical guitar of ell, ever.
Along the way Matt shares a huge amount of general pickup info, learning and experience that will be of use to anyone who watches.
We’re doing this in order to make a pickup set that most closely resembles whatever we discover under Red’s bridge, pickguard and control plate, following years of people asking: a) What exactly is in there anyway?; and b) Can you reproduce it?
