Recreating Jimi Hendrix’s Iconic Painted Strat and Revealing it at the Flat He Used to Live!

After finishing recreating the Fool SG and having a tremendous success in revealing it on one of my videos, I began working on the Monterey Strat. Widely regarded as one of the most iconic painted guitars of all time, it was originally designed and hand-painted by Jimi Hendrix himself. For this project, I once again teamed up with Batsheva Cutler and Richard Pilkington. The finished guitar turned out beautifully, and I’m thrilled to share some of the making-of process.
