3 More Squier Telecaster Mods. Here’s 3 more Squier Tele Mods for your new Squier Telecaster. If you’re thinking of modding your Squier Tele, start with the pickups as they’re often the weak point. In this video I install the Tonerider Nashville Telecaster set as they are epic.

A great Squier Tele mod for more sound options is a 7 way switch mod. Because this is a Nashville Telecaster, it has a 5-way switch like a strat so this Obsidian Wire harness has a push/pull tone pot which adds the neck pickup in so you get the standard Tele neck and bridge but also have the option to have all 3 pickups on at once. This Harness is a fantastic price and also has an treble bleed switch which I’d highly recommend using.

Finally. I installed a Fender Telecaster bridge on this Squier Telecaster. Why? Brass saddles are fantastic for tone and these are compensated so you don’t have the intonation issues.
