I bought this Fiesta Red Jag-Stang well over a year ago. I “misplaced” the video file (it’s gotta be on one of my hard drives, but I must not have labelled the raw video file, oops) for the review I did back then and I didn’t re-record it until now.

Anyway, I have a love/hate relationship with this guitar. But I don’t hate Nirvana. If *you* hate Nirvana, wtf is wrong with you, huh?

Kurt Cobain was an underrated guitar player. His rhythm was impeccable and he could coax amazing tones out of pawn shop specials. Who cares if he couldn’t solo and didn’t know music theory in a way that he could explain to you? He wasn’t a guitar teacher, bud.

He was also one of the best songwriters of our time. Not underrated with the ole songwriting. Difficult to be underrated when you’ve had number one hits, sold tens of millions of albums, and changed the face of music for decades, you know?

In any case, when Fender first released the Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang back in 1996 I wanted one so badly. But you know why I didn’t buy one? Because money doesn’t grow on trees, bruh. But now that teenage angst has paid off well I can afford to buy the things I couldn’t before, okay?
