Fender Pickup Spring Tubing Replacement

Here’s a quick fix for an old worn out (tube style) pickup spring on a Stratocaster. Most pickup mounting and adjustment screws use an actual spring, but this flexible tubing can wear out and leave a gap, causing the pickup to rattle or even hit the strings.

Tools: Philips screwdriver, Xacto or other sharp knife
